Allergen Information
Sweetcakes By Lisa LLC is a home bakery operating under North Carolina cottage food laws.
Products are prepared in a kitchen that also processes the following allergens:
• Nuts and nut by-products
• Eggs and egg by-products
• Milk and dairy products
• Wheat/gluten
• Soy and soy by-products
• FD&C Yellow #5
We are not an allergen-free kitchen.
Gluten-friendly products are available upon request; however, they are prepared in the same kitchen and on shared equipment with products containing wheat and gluten.
Deposits & Payments
A 25% non-refundable deposit is required for all custom orders. Deposits are due at the time of booking and no later than one week prior to the pickup or event date.
Due to limited availability and the handcrafted nature of our products, all payments made toward custom orders are non-refundable and non-transferable unless otherwise stated in these policies.
Orders canceled at least 7 days prior to the pickup date may have payments transferred to a future order within 3 months of the original event date.
Please note: Orders are not considered finalized or reserved until you have received an invoice and the required deposit has been paid. Dates remain available to other customers until the booking process is completed.
Order Changes & Cancellations
Changes and cancellations must be requested no later than 7 days prior to the scheduled pickup date.
After this timeframe, we are unable to guarantee changes to your order, and the remaining balance may still be due.
Orders with signed contracts may be subject to separate terms and conditions.
Refunds & Store Credit
Due to the custom and handcrafted nature of our products, refunds and exchanges are not available once an order has been accepted.
At pickup or delivery, customers are encouraged to carefully inspect their order to confirm that all requested details, including design, spelling, colors, and decorations, are correct.
Once the order has been accepted and leaves our possession, Sweetcakes By Lisa LLC is no longer responsible for damages caused during transportation, setup, storage, or handling.
Cakes and desserts are delicate products and should be handled carefully. Instructions for proper transport and storage will be provided at pickup.
Flavor and texture preferences are subjective; however, customer satisfaction is important to us. If you believe there is a quality issue with your order, please contact us within 24 hours and return the product for evaluation when possible. Store credit may be issued at the sole discretion of Sweetcakes By Lisa LLC based on the nature of the issue and the amount of product remaining.
No store credits or adjustments will be issued for concerns reported more than 48 hours after pickup or delivery.
Refused Orders
If a customer chooses not to accept an order at the time of pickup or delivery because it does not reasonably reflect the agreed-upon order details, a store credit may be issued minus a 25% handling fee.
The order must be returned in full at the time the refund/store credit is issued.
Partial refunds are not available once an order has been accepted.
Sweetcakes By Lisa LLC is not responsible for replacement costs or additional expenses incurred after a refused order.
Design Disclaimer
Every order is handmade and uniquely created. Decorative finishes and details are subject to artistic interpretation by our decorators.
Reference photos may be provided for inspiration; however, exact duplication of another artist’s work cannot be guaranteed.
We will always make every effort to create a design that closely reflects your requested theme, colors, and overall style.
